itag Skillnet

itag Skillnet is a network of over 100 companies involved in upskilling employees in member technology companies along the Atlantic Coast.

The companies range from micro start-ups to local multi-nationals with a strong emphasis on the ICT Sector. The training network evolved from the promoter organisation, the Innovation Technology AtlanTec Gateway (itag).

itag Skillnet’s primary objective is to

  • Strengthen and grow the ICT sector along the Atlantic gateway by improving the skills of employees in member companies
  • Provide subsidised training for members
  • Deliver tailored enterprise-led training and learning programmes
  • Provide a platform for member companies to network and share ideas
  • Prepare and empower all employees to be future-ready through training initiatives and events including in-house bespoke solutions

We offer a limited number of FREE places to those who are unemployed and seeking to increase their employment prospects through up-skilling in relevant training. If you are currently unemployed, you may be eligible to attend free training impact on your social welfare payments or benefits (for those who are in receipt of such payments). All participants on training programmes will be asked to fill in an itag Skillnet Profile Form.  This Trainee Profile Form is used by Skillnet Ireland and itag Skillnet to collect information relating to participants on training programmes partially or fully funded by Skillnet Ireland from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further & Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.  Skillnet Ireland is mandated by the Department to monitor and evaluate training programmes and to ensure that funds are being used appropriately.  The Skillnet Ireland Trainee Privacy Statement may be accessed on the Skillnet Ireland website at http://www.skillnetireland.ie/data-protection/
