About ITAM

ITAM - Information Technology Association of the Midlands was founded in June 2008 by a group of IT professionals who wanted to heighten awareness of information technology in the Midlands region. The aim is to bring together businesses & professionals from across the Midlands to share experiences, best practices, and to form a forum for analysing today's most pressing technology issues.

ITAM will be instrumental in promoting the Midlands as a centre of excellence for technology and in attracting the best both in terms of ICT Companies & Professionals. ITAM has aligned itself with the well established IT Association in Galway , ITAG and is structured as a Chapter to this Association .

Our Goals

1. To act as both a point of reference and an accelerator to broaden the attraction of the Midlands region as a location for companies leveraging IT skills and infrastructure

2. To build the capabilities and experience of the region, and in particular our members,  through the deployment of relevant  training and content.

3. To provide a forum for member companies to identify trends, issues and opportunities and to have a non-competitive environment where members can share information/ideas.

4. To act as the 'voice of ICT' in representing our members at local development, regional, and state agencies.

5. To work with our colleagues at ITAG to represent the broader interests of the BMW region when analysing and inputting to broader policy issues that may impact the wider region.
