Microsoft Windows Vista, the 2007 Office system, and Exchange 2007 help to simplify the challenges of today's workplace, empowering your people to make the greatest possible contribution to your company’s success.

In this whistle-stop tour, learn how all three product lines, separately and together, work to simplify the challenges of today’s workplace and empower people in the following ways:

  • Simplify how people work together. Wherever people work in your organization, it’s now easier for them to communicate and work together in teams and with customers and partners.
  • Help protect and manage content. Streamline the everyday business processes and content compliance procedures that are slowing your people down.
  • Find information and improve business insight. People across your organisation now have faster, easier access to the information they need, and the tools to make sense of that information.
  • Reduce security risks and deployment costs. Reduce security risks and simplify both desktop and server deployment and management, reducing cost and complexity.

Biography: Eric Lee Biog
Eric Lee is a Product Manager at Microsoft. I am a Product Manager for Visual Studio Team System and I have been in Microsoft for about seven years now and I started my career as a tester, I moved from test to dev, I did development for Windows for a while and then I moved to project management, which is kind of combination of test and dev, doing all the schedules and specifications.

“I don't want to make this sound like a marketing pitch, but in all honesty, I think the way TFS integrates test results, check-ins and work item tracking together is the most valuable thing for developers. I've been a tester, developer and program manager  and having something like TFS would have been really helpful back then. When I was a tester, it was always a struggle to include a repro case with a bug.”

Biography: Martin Woodward
Martin Woodward is a well known member of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System community who just happens to live in Northern Ireland.  Martin works for Teamprise, the leading Microsoft partner connecting Team Foundation Server to non Microsoft platforms such as Mac OS X, Linux, Unix and Java development environments such as Eclipse.  Before that he was a Solutions Architect at a global Systems Integration consultancy working for large Fortune 50, and FSTE 100 companies around the world as well as for the government sector.   Martin has been using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server on production projects since before it was even released and therefore has some great real-life experiences to share.
